You can delete your biogr.id account at any time, directly from the biogr.id dashboard in WordPress. Deleting your account removes everything biogr.id holds for you:

  • your synced posts and the cached images,
  • your connection settings,
  • the Instagram profile details it held.

This affects only the data cached on biogr.id — your Instagram account and the posts on it are untouched. If you only want to stop syncing without deleting anything, disconnect your Instagram account from Settings instead.

Only what’s needed to build and display your bio page:

  • Your posts — images and videos, captions, permalinks and post dates.
  • Your basic profile — username, display name, account type, profile picture and bio.

To keep your bio page loading reliably, biogr.id caches your post images and your profile picture — the image links Instagram provides expire after a few days, which would otherwise leave your bio page showing broken images. biogr.id never accesses your direct messages, your password, or your Instagram login credentials.

WordPress security tokens (nonces) expire after a period of inactivity — simply reload the dashboard page and try again.

Use the Refresh action in the Grid Manager to re-sync from Instagram. If posts still don’t appear, reconnect your Instagram account from Settings — access tokens can occasionally need to be re-authorized.

Yes, you can set a custom URL slug for your bio page from Settings.

Yes — you can choose between light, dark, or “match device” themes for the badge, on either plan. This applies whenever the badge is shown: always on Free, and on Premium if you choose to keep it visible.

Yes, on Premium. Free accounts show a small “Powered by biogr.id” badge beneath your links; upgrading lets you turn it off.

Yes, on both plans — add your Google Analytics Measurement ID or GTM container ID in the Analytics settings tab to track visits to your bio page.

Not yet — each biogr.id install currently supports one connected Instagram account. Multi-account support is on our roadmap.

Yes — on any plan, you can pin up to 3 posts so they always appear first, regardless of your Instagram posting order.
