After installing and activating the Biogr.id plugin, connecting your Instagram account only takes four steps: create your Biogr.id account, connect your WordPress site, connect Instagram, and start managing your feed. There’s no API key to copy, no Access Token to generate, and no need to touch Meta Business Suite.
Step 1: Create Your Biogr.id Account
Sign up at biogr.id and choose your plan, Free or Premium. If you’re upgrading, complete your subscription.
Step 2: Connect Your WordPress Site
Follow the prompt to connect your WordPress site. You’ll be returned to your WordPress dashboard, inside the Biogr.id plugin, already signed in. There’s no API key to copy or paste.
Step 3: Connect Your Instagram Account
On the plugin’s Overview page, click “Connect Instagram.” Log in with the Instagram account you want to sync, then review the permissions Instagram shows you and click “Allow.”
That’s it. No Meta Business Suite, no manual account ID, and no access token to generate. Biogr.id pulls in your profile and recent posts automatically.
Note: you’ll need an Instagram Business or Creator account. Instagram won’t allow a personal account to grant access.
Step 4: Manage Your Feed
Open Grid Manager to choose which Instagram posts appear on your Biogr.id page and link them to your WordPress content.
